Steps Grand Winter Ball 2019

We had the honour of performing at the STEPS 30th Anniversary Grand Winter Ball on Saturday evening at Novotel Twin Waters, sharing the stage with our pianist Pete Kelly; ballerina Clare; and the fabulous dancers from Sunshine Troupe.
Steps Charity celebrated 30 years of change lives by providing opportunities and a brighter future for people with a disability. Thank you to all the sponsors and attendees for your support of this wonderful cause. Hope to see you again next year. xxx

Hervey Bay Jazz Club 2019

Thank you soooo much Hervey Bay Jazz Club for having us back for our 5th show. Wow, what a night! It was a SELL OUT… 225 people, the biggest night the club has ever had.

Sunshine Coast Masquerade Ball 2019

“FUNdraising” was definitely “FUN” @ the Sunshine Coast Masquerade Ball on Saturday night. What an absolute hoot!

Thank you to Charmaine Wheatley, Yvonne Jackson, Barbi Carver and the ball committee for your tireless work in making this event such a huge success. Thank you to all the sponsors for your donations and prizes. Thank you to the gorgeous Skye Parker for filling in for our lioness Michelle on the night. And a VERY BIG THANK YOU to the 400 exquisitely dressed Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses for partying together to help others in need. Your generous support will help restore the lives and dignity of those affected by the Townsville floods; STEMM; My Wedding Wish; Sunshine Coast Rotaract Club and other Rotary International charities. Queensland Day Award 2019

On Thursday 6 June, Honourable Sandy Bolton MP awarded The Kitty Kats with a Queensland Day Award 2019 (Noosa Electorate) at The J Theatre. The words on the certificate read “your time, commitment and dedication to our community is making a real difference to Noosa and Qld.”

We are so humbled to have received such a prestigious award and feel fortunate to be able to help people in our community through our music.

A big thank you to Jacqui Trewin for nominating us for the award. You truly are an honorary Kat!

We would also like to thank Sandy Bolton and her fabulous team for all the wonderful work you do in our local community.

Bringing Booty Back – Paragon Theatre

What an INCREDIBLE night!! The biggest thank you to the 225 people who travelled many miles and got their burlesque on with us! Thank you Marissa and Nigel at The Paragon Theatre for all your pre-show assistance and warm welcome you gave us upon arrival. Huge thanks to Alex and Pete at Astute Sound for our fabulous sound and lights. To the gorgeous Scarlet Tinkabelle who is as beautiful and inspiring off stage as she is on. And the lovely ladies at Bella Bliss Studios Bundaberg for wooing the crowd with their sassy routines… thank you! And who could forget our party starters and burlesque hosts Deb and John!
