As the founding memeber and creative director of The Kitty Kats I am excited to continue the journey and begin a new chapter for future shows and productions. The Kitty Kats will feature rotating professional singers with exciting shows and some community vocal workshops launching in 2026.
The History of The Kitty Kats…“bringing booty back!!”
Three of Queensland’s most loved performers united to form the all-female powerhouse trio, The Kitty Kats. originally featured renowned vocalists Susanne Campbell, Michelle Brown and Renae Suttie. The Kitty Kats were and are proud to be “bringing booty back”. The sound is a sassy mix of 3-part acapella harmonies, cabaret, pop, swing, jazz, blues, and rockabilly, The Kitty Kats band and shows always have you dancing, crying, singing, laughing out loud, and “loving the skin you’re in”.
Since their debut in March 2015, The Kitty Kats have performed countless sell-out shows on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg and beyond.
They have featured at the Wishlist Jazz & Wine Festival, Brisbane Sings, Horizon Festival, Broadbeach Jazz Festival, Caloundra Music Festival, ANZAC Day at Caloundra R.S.L., Seniors Christmas Concert at City Hall, Qld Ballet Lest We Forget, International Women’s Day, STEPS Ball, and at many corporate events.
As part of the Caloundra Fringe Festival 2015, The Kitty Kats held a two week Young Women’s Performance Mentoring Program, working with upcoming local female artists.
The Kitty Kats have also been involved in number of charities and community groups and were honoured by the naming of The Kitty Kats Classroom at the Dunamis Christian School, Welkom, South Africa, 2016.
