Blog

To The Kitty Kats supporters,

After 12 incredible years, there has been some changes happening in recent months with The Kitty Kats.

Earlier this year, Renae decided to step away from the trio to focus on her growing personal career – I saw her in a fabulous Sondheim show she was in last Thursday – loved it. Michelle and I continued on over the last couple of months in partnership, with the wonderful support of Skye Parker stepping in to cover some of the performances previously scheduled for the year.

More recently, Michelle has decided to continue forward with some of the remaining bookings under her own name and projects, while I will continue with The Kitty Kats name, email and future productions. I appreciate being able to carry the Kitty Kats name forward into the next chapter featuring rotating professional singers.

I want to say how truly grateful I am to have shared the stage with two such powerhouse women. Working alongside Renae and Michelle has been an amazing journey, and The Kitty Kats would never have achieved the success we did without the commitment, talent and passion each of us brought to the trio. Together we worked towards one goal — putting on great shows and creating wonderful memories for our audiences.

I’m incredibly proud that an idea I had back in 2015 — to create a vocal trio with other great singers — grew into something far beyond what I ever imagined. That success was only possible because all three of us believed in the vision and worked hard to bring it to life. It honestly grew organically.

I would also like to give a special thank you to Skye Parker for the wonderful work she has done over the last few years stepping in and covering Kitty Kats performances when needed. It is never easy stepping into the shoes of much-loved performers, but Skye brought her own professionalism, talent and strength to the stage, and audiences quickly grew to appreciate her as much as Renae, Michelle and I.

While it’s always sad when chapters come to an end, I truly wish Renae and Michelle every success in their future and thank them for the years of music and friendship we shared.

As the great showman Bobby Limb used to say, “The show must go on.”

As the founding member of The Kitty Kats, I’m excited to continue the journey and begin a new chapter for future shows and productions.

So watch this space… The Kitty Kats will be returning in a new chapter — featuring outstanding professional singers, exciting old and new shows and workshops for singers launching in 2026.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. Your encouragement has meant the world.

For venues and event organisers: I will be continuing The Kitty Kats into its next chapter from 2026 forward. All future Kitty Kats performances, shows and bookings will be managed directly through me Susanne Campbell xo

WISHLIST JAZZ AND WINE FESTIVAL

Wishlist Jazz and Wine Festival last Saturday was an absolute hoot and raised over $25000 for Gympie Hospital patients and families. Thank you to everyone who came, to all the volunteers and Wishlist team, and to Barry from Eyes Wide Open Images for the fun photos. 😻😻😻
Further info:
Wishlist’s fifth Jazz and Wine Festival has been touted a success after raising over $25,000 for Gympie Hospital patients and families.
The event saw more than 350 people gather at The Pavilion on Sunday, August 7 to enjoy 70s nostalgic band Rufus Jack, powerhouse trio The Kitty Kats, and award-winning wine and gourmet food.
Wishlist Fundraising and Partnerships Manager Lisa Wilson said the vibe was electric in the new and improved location coupled with mild winter temperatures and a tremendous turnout.
“$25,000 raised in one afternoon is sensational. From the entire Wishlist team, we thank you Gympie from the bottom of our hearts for rallying behind your local hospital,” Ms Wilson said.
“We saw some incredible raffle and auction items, and we’d like to give a big thank you to the generous businesses and suppliers who donated to make the day a success, as well as those who bid competitively and purchased tickets.
“We’d love to say a huge thank you to our major sponsor One Agency Gympie, and event partners AJT Legal, SCHUH Group, Jobmatch Employment, Aspect Homes, Heads of Noosa, Civilvic, Bird & Hand Winery, Sunshine & Sons, Karinya Florist & Gifts, McCintocks Transport, McCintocks Fuel, and Power & Cartwright.”

Katie Rose Cottage Hospice Forget-me-not Gala

We would like to thank everyone involved for this incredible achievement and a big thank you to the team at Katie Rose Cottage Hospice for inviting us to be a part of such a monumental event. Thank you also to Nalu Productions for this beautiful video. 😻😻😻
